First Term Military Transition
💡 The Master Resume Philosophy
There's no such thing as 'one perfect resume.' Every job requires different emphasis, different keywords, and different content selection.
Most resume services give you ONE static document. Then what? You're stuck using the same resume for every application (which doesn't work) or you don't know how to adapt it.
This service teaches you the SYSTEM:
Step 1: Build your Master Resume Bullet Document—a comprehensive database of ALL your experiences, accomplishments, and skills.
Step 2: Learn to TAILOR by pulling relevant content for each specific job application.
Step 3: Use professional templates to quickly create customized versions.
You'll leave with:
-
Your Master document (your career database)
-
Tailored templates (your formatting foundation)
-
The SKILL to create targeted resumes for every job
This is how professionals manage their resumes. You're learning the real approach, not getting a one-time band-aid.

💡 Why SkillBridge Comes First
Unlike other packages where SkillBridge is discussed later, the First-Term package prioritizes it in Session 2. Why? Because SkillBridge applications take time, and the earlier you identify and apply to quality programs, the better your chances. Many first-term service members don't learn about SkillBridge until it's too late. We address it immediately so you can maximize this valuable benefit while building the rest of your transition plan.
First Term Package FAQs
Q: How is this different from the Senior Leader package?
A: The First-Term package is designed for service members with 4-10 years of experience entering the civilian workforce for the first time. Sessions are streamlined for efficiency, and SkillBridge is prioritized early. The Senior Leader package (for 12-20 years of service) includes more extensive resume work, advanced networking, and targets management-level positions.
Q: What if I'm not eligible for SkillBridge or don't want to use it?
A: That's fine! If SkillBridge isn't right for you, Session 2 becomes focused on job search strategies, identifying target companies, and developing your application plan. The package adapts to your specific situation.
Q: I already attended TAP. Do I still need this?
A: TAP provides excellent foundational information, but it's delivered to large groups and can't be personalized to your specific MOS, career goals, or situation. This package gives you one-on-one coaching tailored to YOUR transition, with hands-on help creating your materials and ongoing support. Many of my most successful clients completed TAP and then worked with me for personalized guidance.
Q: Can I complete this package faster than 5-7 weeks?
A: Yes! If you're highly motivated and have time to work on assignments between sessions, we can schedule sessions closer together. Some clients complete the package in 3-4 weeks. However, you'll still need time between sessions to complete work, research SkillBridge, and implement what you're learning.
